The 420 friendly apartment is in a great part of Brooklyn just near all the bars and restaurants on Franklin Ave in Crown Heights and a 25 minute walk to Prospect Park and about a 30 minute walk to Fort Greene Park. It’s right off the Franklin C, so you can be in downtown Manhattan in about 20 minutes or in midtown in about 35 minutes. There's a key code at the front entrance to this fourth floor walk up, 3 bedroom apartment. There's a Lincoln Market and Shop Fair a block away.
The room is furnished (the desk is different than pictured and there is a dresser as well), is at the back of the apartment away from the street, and gets plenty of sunlight during the day. Please note that it can be a bit noisy at times due to proximity to Atlantic Ave. The rent includes all utilities.
You and two other roommates will split costs of common supplies as well as share a weekly rotating set of chores. We like to keep the space clean and expect everyone to contribute to the cleaning. We'll clean dishes as used and take turns doing some light cleaning in different parts of the common spaces.
We like to have a quiet atmosphere at home most nights, and generally like to have roommates communicate when they're brining folks over just as a courtesy to the other roommates. Anytime you're bringing more than four people to the apartment, then it should be a group conversation to ensure everyone is okay with it. We don't do big parties.
It's expected that any conflicts in the house would be communicated in a direct manner and assume that everyone is making a good faith effort to come to a resolution or compromise if there are issues in the apartment.
I'm a writer and am queer, and I'm looking for other artists or creatives who are queer-friendly. You'll be living with two roommates as well, who are committed to keeping a calm, orderly household.

You'll need to demonstrate proof of income 40x the monthly rent. You'll provide a security deposit the value of one month's rent that will be returned so long as the room is in the same condition as when entered and rent is paid in full.
