Come join our house and become part of our community! You’d be living in one of those dreamy, historic homes located inside the Presidio National Park. This room would be available starting May 15, 2026. We’re open to a single person or a couple — extra bonus if you have a dog to befriend ours! *No cats, we have folks in the house who are highly allergic.

This room is HUGE, nestled in its own corner on the 2nd floor. Hugged by its tall, historic windows, this spacious room invites in all the colors of the surrounding forest. The room gets drenched with sunlight in the mornings and early afternoon. You’ll have to catch the sunset colors from one of our magical bay view bathrooms! In addition to the room's deep closet, you'll have access to all storage throughout the house.

About the house:

Built in 1912, this unique home is perched in the middle of a national forest, surrounded by endless hiking trails and beaches right outside your front door. This house has 4 floors, 6 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. Including you, when all the rooms are filled, there will be 6 housemates.

Your future community:

This home sits on a private row of about 5 houses -- we consider this to be our community where most neighbors know one another. We have a community WhatsApp group and gather for pickleball, dog walks, survivor watch parties, board game nights, and more. Moving here is a wonderful way to meet people and make friends. It's a 5-minute walk to our community garden (where you can reserve a plot) and orchard. 15-minute walk to Equator Coffee, 10-minute walk to Chrissy Field/Movement Climbing Gym, and 20-minute walk to Presidio Center.

About This Lister

Your future housemates:

N - a kind, super talented musician and scientist who loves to create music, play goofy video games and talk shit in the group chat. He lives in the basement.

L - Lives in the attic with her very friendly, cuddly 65 lb dog Taro. L has a background in environmental science & now works for a Hawai’i-based NGO and serves at a restaurant in the panhandle. Can make a mean coffee & will happily make you coffee syrups or baked goods!

S - Works at a startup downtown, but has a wide-ranging professional background (worked in international development in India and at an HVAC company in Texas!). Loves long, ambling, difficult movies and playing Codenames. Would love to go on runs & lift weights w/ you if you’re game!

A - is very down-to-earth, kind, and is an aspiring chef. passionate about biking, the outdoors, animals, and has recently taken up playing bass in a band.

W - A marine biologist and educator, the newest addition to the house,  originally from the East Coast. He loves any outdoor activity, meeting new people, and might teach you to skateboard if you ask nicely!
