The available room is very large, spacious, and fully furnished, and gets a lot of natural sunlight. It also has a closet and plenty of room to settle in comfortably and make it your own.

*** I'm also open to renting the room weekly ($500/wk would include all utilities and cleaning, and some flexibility on the amount of the deposit) ***

The apartment is in a two-story brownstone shared with one other roommate (me). It’s an older building with a lot of charm, and the layout offers a good balance between privacy and shared living.

There’s a spacious kitchen, living room, and separate dining area, along with two full bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), which is a rare setup and makes sharing the space feel really comfortable. Both bedrooms are on the second floor. The apartment itself is quite large for the area, so it never feels cramped. There are also multiple closets throughout for extra storage. Also, a backyard space with a patio and fire pit.

The building is on a beautiful, tree-lined street in a great neighborhood. It's an 8 min walk to the C and a 15 min walk to the A.

It's just me in the apt and my friendly little dog named Vita. Open to another dog in the house if they get along with mine. ❤️ 🐶 I often travel back to CA for long periods of time. This is a queer, trans, BIPOC safe house 🏳️‍🌈

There’s no washer/dryer in the building, but there’s a laundromat just down the street. There are stairs in the apartment and entrance.

About This Lister

I'm am Latinx woman, somewhat of a homebody and enjoy having a dinner party or backyard BBQ from time to time. I'm kind, respectful. I travel to CA for long periods of time.

I'm a software engineer, and work at a large non-profit. I am not overly picky about cleaning but do like to keep common spaces clean and free of clutter. I'm open to sharing costs of professional cleaning if that is something someone is interested in.

Rental requirements

I will need a copy of your photo ID. I will also need to see proof of income (a paystub or offer letter). If you are in school or not working I will need some proof that you are able to cover rent for the full term. I will be requesting a deposit of $1700 returned at the end of your stay.

The rent includes wifi, electricity is paid separately.

I will also give you a copy of my photo ID and will request you sign a sublease agreement.

I'm open to being more flexible length or time of stay, if it is good living situation I'm open to extending or moving around the start and end dates.

Pets Policy
