Our apartment is on the second floor in a lovely apartment building in a quiet pocket of Bushwick. It's a spacious 2Bed/1Bath with windows in every room.

The bedroom for rent has two large windows that bring in great light all day. It’s furnished with a full-sized bed and a standing desk with a monitor, ideal for a work-from-home setup. There’s also a large fire escape right outside the window that I often use like a small balcony when the weather is nice.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, large gas stove, and a spacious fridge. There are plenty of spices and cooking basics you’re welcome to use, and it’s got ample counter space. It's ideal if you like to cook!

The living room is set up with a theater projector and surround sound system, it's a great space for watching films or listening to music in a really immersive way. We moved into the apartment fairly recently, so the room will be a bit more put together by the time of the sublet (projector mounted, things neatened up, and the black shelf removed).

The location is one of the best parts. The apartment is two blocks from Maria Hernandez Park and surrounded by great coffee shops, delis, excellent restaurants, and a variety of bars. Laundromats and grocery options are all less than a minute away, while the block itself stays quiet and relaxed.

You’d be sharing the apartment with my roommate, a 36-year-old designer who works in film. He’s very kind, quiet, and mostly keeps to himself. His girlfriend stays over about once every week or two, and he often spends nights at her place as well. The apartment layout is a shotgun style with rooms on opposite sides, so it’s easy to have privacy and not cross paths much even when both people are home.

The apartment is about a 9-minute walk to the L train and a 7-minute walk to the M, making it easy to get around the city.

I’m looking for someone who is respectful of the space and the people in it. Having a guest over now and then is fine, but please communicate with my roommate about it. No pets or parties allowed!
