We feel lucky to have found such a gem of an apartment, and we are looking for a gem of a roommate to share it with! From the super high ceilings, to the hardwood floors, the big french doors and the floods of sunlight that come in through the old fashioned arched windows and our skylight, we love our space and we take pride in keeping it tidy and beautiful. The apartment has four bedrooms total-- one for each of three roommates, and a fourth that we use as a shared office/plant sanctuary/yoga/reading space. We have a big open kitchen/living room and a bathroom with a shower and tub. No dishwasher, unfortunately, but we do have laundry in the building and central AC! The building is just six units with nice neighbors and shared roof access on a friendly block nearby excellent transit, with a 20 minute walk to Prospect Park.
Accessibility: Third Floor walkup, unfortunately no elevator.
**Please note: we have a mini-goldendoodle puppy who lives with us. Bunny is 2 years old and very well behaved and affectionate. She does not shed and is hypoallergenic. Ideally we would like to find someone who is a big dog lover and wants to give her love and cuddles and perhaps help out with some walks here and there.
About the room: The available room has hardwood floors and an east-facing window. The room gets sunlight in the morning and afternoon. You can fit a full or queen-sized bed plus a dresser or desk comfortably and there is a thin but tall closet. The room can be unfurnished or come with a large dresser and queen bed frame (free).
We are looking for a female roommate in their late twenties or early 30s with proof of income and a solid credit score who wants to share this space with us and help make it a home. Cleanliness and tidiness are a priority, and we share a weekly cleaning schedule. We are progressive and LGBTQ+ friendly. We are a non-smoking apartment, but 420 friendly if you want to go up on the roof to smoke or enjoy your gummies indoors :)
If you're interested, please reach out and we will arrange to show the apartment in person.

I am leaving this lovely apartment after three years to move in with my girlfriend. You'll be living with two roommates in their late 20s and early 30s. One of them works five days a week in the office as a healthcare worker, and the other works three days a week in the office with Mondays and Fridays from home (for reproductive rights legal NGO). They are mellow and friendly, and both hang out at home some evenings and have our partners over but are out and about in the city a good amount. They don't usually bring the party home, but do host some potlucks and dinner parties here and there and have friends over to the house with notice to the other roommates.
Per landlord's requirements, tenants must earn 40x the rent and have a credit score above 700 (or provide a guarantor).
