I'm seeking longterm housing for my nephew in a furnished or unfurnished room with 1-2 windows, a closet, and really hoping to have enough room for a desk.

My hope is to find a home with good steady roommates, wifi, close to a train, with enough light to take care of a plant. Desk can get a little messy but mostly in private space. My nephew keeps things tidy.

Looking in Brooklyn or Manhattan close to a train. If there's a microwave in the kitchen that would be helpful but not necessary. Budget is $900 - $1100.

Friends back home are authentic, fun, outgoing, give good advice, and are making wise decisions. Open to a roommate that's focused, friendly, and who might want to share a meal or a conversation sometimes. Also, my nephew can keep to themselves.
