I’m looking to sublet half of my studio to an artist, writer, photographer, or someone seeking a creative office space. The space is available immediately and can be rented short-term (3 month minimum) or long-term, depending on the fit. Preference is given to long-term sublets (12 months).
The studio is located on a quiet street in Chinatown, in a small, mostly residential building rented only to artists and writers. It’s on the first floor (one flight up, no elevator) and features two north-facing windows overlooking the street and fire escape. There are four other artists on the floor, creating a friendly and creative environment.
Conveniently located near Doyers, Bayard, Pell, Bowery, Mott, and Chatham Square, and within walking distance of LES and Henry Street art galleries and 15 minutes from Tribeca art galleries.
Details:
Shared space: approximately 20 ft x 10 ft
Monthly rent includes electricity, Wi-Fi, and fridge use
Private bathroom in the hallway with small sink available for washing materials
Extra storage available at an additional cost
Space divided by curtains and foam core for privacy
This is a shared, quiet, and welcoming studio—ideal for someone who values a central location and creative atmosphere. The pictures and description above are of the space available. My space behind the curtain, is not pictured.
I'm an artist and have lived in NYC for 15 years.
Please send link to your website, how you would use the space, and how many months are you looking for.
