I'm looking to sublet my large, bright, clean, fully-furnished and art-filled 1 bedroom railroad apartment (approx. 720 sq feet) for the remainder of May and all of June, 2026 to a responsible, respectful, and clean, preferably, individual, although I'd be open to considering couples on a case by case basis.

Some additional details regarding the apartment:
• The apartment is a shoe-free space that comprises a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and bathroom
• Apartment is a 2nd floor walk up in a 3 story townhouse with large south-east and south-west facing windows - building has 6 apartment units total
• Apartment is equipped with an AC and a ceiling fan
• Pets are not allowed
• Rent is inclusive of utilities (electric, gas, wifi)
• The super comes in daily, and is easily accessible by phone (my dear friend lives on the first floor too for any questions, etc.)
• Building is a 5 minute walk in either direction from Dekalb Ave. L and Knickerbocker Ave. M trains in Bushwick
• There are tons of great cafe's, restaurants, book stores, a movie theater (Syndicated Brooklyn), vintage stores, and more in the neighborhood, including a Sushi and Sake bar across from the apartment building
• 7 minute walk to Maria Hernandez Park
• 24-hour grocery store across the street; multiple other grocery stores of varying sizes in close proximity as well
• Laundromat down the road (2 min walk) with both drop-service and self-service

About This Lister

I'm an arts educator, education researcher, and designer who runs an arts education nonprofit supporting the learning and developmental needs of children from underserved communities through the visual arts. I'm also currently pursuing doctoral research. I am the current tenant of the apartment, subletting the space for the temporary duration, while I'm away. I like to keep my apartment clean and organized and stay respectful of other tenants in the building. One of my closest friends lives on the first floor.
