We are traveling for a while summer and are looking to rent out our little upstate paradise. The dates and length are somewhat flexible but prefer the rent out the full 3 weeks.

The house is located between Saugerties and Woodstock in Upstate NY, 2 hours drive from the city and very conveniently located to everything the Catskills area has to offer.

The house is big and spacious with a big open newly renovated kitchen and breakfast nook with French doors leading into the garden, a large dining room, living room with a projector, and fireplace and additional piano / play room. Each room has doors leading into the garden area.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, a large king size bedroom, one queen size with an en-suite newly renovated bathroom with a wonderful rainshower, and one other full size bedroom. On this floor there is also a large, newly renovated bathroom with a big bathtub.

This is an old brick federal house, built in 1902, doubled in size mid-century with an addition. The house has a lot of windows and beautiful light, two staircases and lots of character.
I am a fashion designer and my husband is a carpenter , we have poured a lot of love and attention into our house.
The house is set on a 9 acre park-like setting with apple trees, lovely mix of flowers and old trees and a small forest with a pond. ( not swimmable but serene and beautiful )
There are swings, trampoline, hammock, and a fire pit area on the field.

We are a family of 3 who divide our time between Brooklyn NYC and Woodstock.
I am a fashion designer originally from Sweden.
My husband is a carpenter and maker. Together we bought this house to get closer to nature and as a project to create our own special place. We have a 9 year-old daughter and a stray cat that now has decided to move in with us. We love spending time in the area and have a long list of recommendations for the best swimming holes, restaurants, and kid-friendly activities in the area.
