Sharing entrance, hallway, dining and living room with a single male in late 30. (he has his own private room and bathroom)

Available July 1 and for 3 months, until the end of September 2026. (92 days)
with some flexibility in exact dates. Monthly rent of $1650 with minimum commitment of 2 months (60 days) For the whole term (3 months) rentals get reduced rate of $4500 total ($1500 per month.

The apartment is a whole 2nd floor of 3 story building, totaling in roughly 1000 sq.ft. Your room (pictured here in first three photos) is roughly 15 x 11 in size, furnished with a queen size bed, shelves, a desk and a office chair. It has a large closet and the exclusive access to the backyard garden.

In common areas, amenities in house include microwave, dish washer, toaster, rice cooker, electric kettle, record player, etc.

6 minutes walk to Jackson Heights-74th Street and Broadway for 7/E/F/M/R subways. 25 minutes to Times Square/Midtown, 30 minute drive to JFK, 12 minutes to LGA. Grocery stores, laundromats, playgrounds and great selections of restaurants & bars are all in the area, yet the street is very quiet. Our backyard is a magical hideaway with a fire pit, BBQ grills, flower garden and chairs.

I am the lease holder and have lived here with my roommate. I will be traveling for the duration and looking to have a trustworthy person to stay while I am gone, to offset my travel expenses. You will be sharing the apartment with my roommate Ian, (m-late 30’s) who works regular jobs in weekday schedules, he’s quiet, respectful and socially adequate.

You will have to tell me about yourself that explains why you need this short term residency. I prefer a short term traveler who’s visiting NY for specific professional or educational project/assignment, and you will be screened by me as well as by my roommate who’s sharing the house with you. Please provide detailed information about yourself, your profession and lifestyle in general. When I see that you can be a good fit we can schedule a meeting either virtually or in person. Please prepare to provide me some form of proof of your financial stability (bank statements, etc.) and reference contacts for those whom you have shared the living space with in the past.

No Smoking, No Pets, No Parties. This share is for you one person. No bringing over girl/boyfriend or spouse or couch crasher.
$4500 for the whole 3 month duration, July 1 through September 30. Or Minimum commitment of $1650/per mo. x 2 months ($3300) required. Rent includes gas, electricity and wifi. Security deposit of $1000, separate from the rent, is required to close the deal. The deposit will be refunded in full when you move out with no loss and damage to the apartment.
