Hi all, I am subletting my beautiful sunlit room for June and July. The room faces green backyards, is equipped with a desk, storage chests, a very comfortable queen sized bed, and a quiet, efficient AC.
The apartment will be shared with one other roommate, a very friendly political science graduate student. We are looking for someone who is good about keeping shared spaces clean and hopes to have a peaceful home base for a New York summer. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a large living and dining room, it does not feel crammed. The apartment is on the third floor of a 5-floor apartment building, you do not hear the neighbors and everyone is very kind when you meet them in the hallway.

The apartment is located on a quiet, tree-lined street leading to City College. The express A/D train is a five minute walk away, you can reach Penn Station and downtown in 20 minutes. The 1 is a 7 minute walk away. Columbia University, City College, and the Columbia Medical Center are all within easy reach. There are two large grocery stores in walking distance and many small eateries, bars, and restaurants. Riverbank State Park with expansive views over the Hudson and outdoor workout spaces is a short walk away.

I am Hedwig, a political science grad student and I will be traveling for the summer. I really love this room since it is quiet, has a beautiful backyard view, and is not next to my roommate's room, so you have privacy.

My roommate is a very friendly queer man who will work from home some of the time, is always happy to chat when in the common spaces, and appreciates someone who will keep the space reasonably clean. He will keep to himself, will respect your space, and offer any kind of New York recommendation should this be your first longer stay in the city.
