THE APARTMENT
Big dining room and living room make for a really relaxing common space.

Whether you want to watch TV, read, or listen to some music, the apartment is well equipped for relaxation. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook, and the apartment is fully furnished and fully stocked with kitchenware.

The apartment is a big three bedroom that is a full floor in a two unit building. It's only one flight of stairs up and on the main road, Flatbush Ave. Luckily, the bedrooms are in the back on the apartment so they are very quiet. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store steps away - perfect for when you've forgotten a single ingredient in a recipe.

There is also a walking pad in the common space that you can use. The common space (dining room and living room) has an air conditioner.

Utilities are fully included in rent.

Both the B, Q, and S trains are 8 minutes walk away as is Prospect Park. The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are also close by. I also frequently take the B41 and B48 buses to explore Brooklyn.

THE ROOMS
This is the largest bedroom in the apartment. It has two windows with excellent light and includes the hall closet. It comes furnished with a bed, lamp, and desk.

The sublet is for April 15-August, with the intention to continue past that if it's a good fit for both of us.

THE CAT
My cat, Phillip, lives with me. He is very friendly, curious, and vocal. He loves to cuddle up to people and will ask you to play with him. He is very food-motivated, as a former street cat, and eats anything that looks like a string, from hair ties to bra straps. He is a great cat to have around but does require a certain amount of vigilance to be sure he's not eating what he shouldn't.

Unfortunately, he does not play well with other pets so I can't accommodate other animals in the apartment.

THE VIBE
I enjoy cooking sometimes and exploring the neighborhood and would be happy to have companions for this. I also am a big believer in quiet time though and introverts are also very welcome. We can discuss together what apartment culture we are comfortable with.

I err on the side of movie nights and dinner parties with friends rather than big parties and would ask that you do as well. Guests are welcome but not to the point where it's overly frequent or disruptive to others.

Please let me know a little bit about you, what kind of roommate you are, and what dates you're looking for in your email. I arrange apartment showings or remote chats through a booking form that I'll send out in reply. The initial sublease will be through the end of August, but I'm ideally looking for someone who we mesh with and will stay longer.
