Looking for someone to takeover my 1-bedroom space in a 4bed2bath unit centrally located in Gowanus less than 10 minutes walking to Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and Park Slope. Immediate move-in available.

Unit: Apartment has in-unit washer/dryer (WD), dishwasher, and private outdoor deck. Other 3 roommates are mid-20s woc. There is one cat (no other pets, sorry!) Our house is open/friendly— we love having friends and guests over. Generally very tidy household where we all pitch in to clean. We’re looking for someone to continue the friendly, warm nature of our household. Lease is up for renewal end of July, roommates are planning to renew.

Room: Small, around 65sq ft! Full-sized bed plus desk or queen-bed only. Two large floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows provide constant sunlight. Has a split-unit AC/heater to independently control temperature of your room. There are no true closets— only two large storage spaces in the wall. You’ll share a bathroom with one other person.

Furnishings: Can be completely unfurnished or (for a small, fair price) semi-furnished with a full-bed Pottery Barn lofted bed frame (weight capacity 500lbs) + mattress with built-in desk and shelves (how I made a closet). Can also leave a mirror and rug.

Location:
We are located on the same block as a club, which can be a bit noisy, especially on weekends. Near multiple grocery stores, gyms, and restaurants on both Smith Street and 3rd Ave.

Will need to prove 40x rent via income/have guarantor + standard rental application documents (ID, proof of income, etc) to get approved by LL.

Process: Request room video/photos and or schedule virtual/IRL tour, meet housemates, apply if interested!

Cost:
You will buy me out of my share of the security deposit (1/4 of apartment total rent) and pay prorated rent if moving before May 1! Utilities run <=$100/month per person and are split evenly (electric + wifi).
