A: Male 31-year-old and mental health advocate. He is the Executive Director of a mental health non-profit, Partner at a DC think tank, and senior advisor to a mental health accelerator. He works from home and enjoys a healthy calm lifestyle with diverse interests. He likes plants, reading, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, documentaries, sausage dogs, hosting dinners, Italian wine, bath houses, disco balls, and sometimes artsy things or nature.

L: 33-year-old female who works in tech. I have a 13-year-old Puli and a broad range of interests: traveling, freediving, cycling, yoga, music, galleries, hosting dinner parties, plants, baking and making ice cream. I'm most interested in an equitable household where everyone feels like they have a say, there is full buy-in before decisions are made, and the housemates have a genuine desire to build a chosen family. It's important to me that we mostly share the same values and have a common vision for how we want to live, as well as the type of community we're looking to build together. This means equal contributions, helping each other, dividing responsibilities and creating effective systems to keep our home operating smoothly and efficiently.

I have a twin sister and moved here from San Diego with my cuddly red heeler/husky mix Olive last year. I am looking to strengthen my connection to local community in part by finding more intentional "family" with congruent values and sense of compassion. H: Female 33-year-old who is a Senior Director of Operations for a national immigration advocacy non-profit previously based in DC (👋) but now remote. I’m a joyful human who values spending time in nature, frequent travel, practices yoga and meditation, enjoys throwing pottery and sourcing delicious produce, bread and wine. I love systems! I’ve been traveling nomadically for 2.5 years (in other people’s homes) and understand how to treat a living space with respect. I cook. I care about knives, wood, and cast iron/carbon steel pans. I also just care a lot and try to live in a loving way. I love to dance (all).
