About the apartment: Big, furnished, sunny one-bedroom in Kensington, Brooklyn. The apartment has hardwood floors, a large sitting and dining room, large bedroom with two closets, small kitchen (no dishwasher), and bathroom. Elevator building with package room and basement laundry.

Monthly rent is $2200/month, including all utilities (electricity and internet).

About the neighborhood: The apartment is in Kensington, on the border with Ditmas Park. It's close to shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, and Citi Bike stations. About a 15-20 minute walk to Prospect Park. Near the Q at Cortelyou Road and F at Ditmas Avenue. It's a pretty quiet, residential neighborhood that still has access to plenty of amenities!

The rest: This apartment is great for a responsible, quiet single person or couple. I am looking for someone who will respect the space and my neighbors, and do their best to keep my one snake plant alive. No smoking inside, no pets (this is non-negotiable, sorry!).

The move-in date is somewhat flexible, but no later than November 15. I'm looking for a longer-term sublet (mid- to end of July). A possible lease takeover or sublet extension may be possible at the end of July, but that's still a bit TBD.

I'm going to be working abroad in the coming months, but my visa situation is still in flux. I love my apartment and I am not quite ready to give it up for good just yet!
