Come stay in my place! I’ve lived in this rent-controlled apartment for 4 years. It’s the best place I’ve ever had — it’s sunny and quiet, the neighbors are lovely - respectful and friendly - and management is super responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood is lush, green and clean and walkable — a few blocks away from Runyon Canyon and Wattles garden, and walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Bristol Farms, coffee shops, yoga studios, restaurants and tons of other amenities. Lots of families and cutie-pie dogs :)
I'm moving out of state for SIX MONTHS (timeline is SOMEWHAT negotiable! Let's talk!) You will sign a sublease designating the time of your stay and we will have it notarized :)
The apartment itself is from the 1940s. Big sunny windows, LOTS of plants and textiles. A huge comfy couch. Window AC’s in bedroom/dining room and communal heating in hallway/living room. AMAZING WATER PRESSURE. Big Roku TV in the living room (you’re welcome to use all of my current accounts!) and a projector and screen in the bedroom for bedsheet theatre! We also have a fully equipped kitchen with tons of supplies, microwave, bullet blender, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker etc.
The bedroom room is sunny and quiet with lots of art prints and paintings I’ve collected over the years. Lots of lamps for soft lighting :) It gets real cozy! HUGE CLOSET, a dresser, two bedside tables, a storage ottoman, shoe racks, a three-tier rolling carts and some communal hallway space for your stuff :) Feel free to read anything from my library — I have recommendations!
Roommate is a quiet, extremely cleanly and friendly dancer in her early 50’s. She spends most of her time in her own room and only very rarely has guests over. Occasionally she teaches dance classes in the living room via zoom. She is health-conscious and progressive and warm and an overall FABULOUS roommate. We share a chore wheel for communal areas that you will be expected to follow (unless y’all make a different agreement.)
Three washer/dryers in the basement directly under the apartment. No garage parking but there’s TONS of parking on Courtney street (one of the cross streets — I’ve literally never had trouble finding a spot in 4 years haha). Close to Highland/Hollywood metro and various bus routes. Utilities (Just internet and electric) are usually about $50-100/mo. (depending on how much AC you use).
To inquire please TEXT the number below. We look forward to meeting you!

I'm a yoga teacher and playwright/screenwriter! My roommate is a dancer/dance teacher/bookkeeper (our bills are very organized thanks to her, haha!) We are both neatfreaks, progressive, athletic, creative-types (she/her, she/her).
We'd love someone who is similarly neat and respectful in shared spaces and someone who doesn't party (at the house, of course, occasional dinner guests/sleepovers are okay!). There are shared chores you will be expected to follow (easy enough stuff; roomie and I do a clean of certain areas once a week, but you are welcome to renegotiate with her). We don't expect that you and roommate will necessarily be hanging out all the time, but please be friendly and communicative!
LADIES ONLY, PLEASE! SORRY, BOYS!
There is an $500 deposit, to be returned at end of sublease. I need at least two forms of ID, and the sublease will be notarized. You will be paying rent directly to me on the first of each month. There will be a stipulation in the lease that late rent will be penalized, and if it is consistently late you will be evicted. I will notify you of utility due dates and send you the bills accordingly. Text me to arrange a viewing time.
