This is a spacious 1BR with en-suite bathroom, in a 2BR/2BA.

I will be gone from January 26 through March 11 and am offering the room for 6 weeks for the equivalent of 1 month's rent and utilities. ($1750)

The room will have most of my belongings in it while I'm gone so I am looking to rent to someone I can trust to take care of the space. Couples would be OK. If you have a cat, I'll need you to pay for a cleaning before you leave as I'm allergic!

You'll be sharing the living room and kitchen with my lovely roommate R (26NB) but they have their own separate entrance and bathroom. We keep the common area pretty clean—no dishwasher so keeping up with the dishes is a priority. Laundry is in the basement of the building.

The apartment is a third-floor walkup in a very in-demand neighborhood—beautiful Ridgewood! ~14 mins walk to the Dekalb L and ~9 mins walk to the Seneca M. The B38 bus stops closer by. You're just around the corner from Honey Moon Coffee, Lucy's Vietnamese, and Fade to Black Vintage. The new City Fresh 24-hour grocery is less than 10 minutes' walk away.

You'll be able to walk further into Ridgewood to enjoy Topos, OPC, Bakeri, and Rolo's; or walk the other way into Bushwick to Nook, Abe's Pagoda, Variety Coffee, and the Sultan Room.

Past subletters have been friends or friends of friends. Girls, gays, and theys preferred for our subletter—or really anyone who doesn't mind staying in my extremely pink and girly room :)

My roommate is very neat and I probably am the messiest person they would willingly live with. So ideally you are cleaner and more organized than me!

But they are awesome and if you get along they will probably spend your sublet showing you fun stuff to do around the neighborhood.

We met through a history club online so the apartment is full of historical decorations, books, and other nerdy objects. If you are a nerd or a fangirl at all you'll love the space.
