I'm Lauren, an artist & poet-- looking for a tenant to move into my
apartment in Brooklyn - currently renting for summer- beginning on june 8th.

Rental possibilities also exist on a month to month timeline.

Apartment Details:

--- 3 bedroom apt in Kensington Brooklyn, on cortelyou Road near the F train. 11218. One flight of stairs up.

— monthly rate: $1300
--- weekly rent rate: $400

— a security deposit of $700 is also required and returned if no damages.
— utilities are $150 a month

--- 1 short block from the F train (ditmas ave stop), few blocks from
the G train (church av stop) & the Q train is walkable.

--- Walking distance to coffee shops & restaurants, health food
stores, etc. We are in a residential area with families and kids and lots of trees around. It is very beautiful here! We are walk/bike distance to Prospect Park & only a 7 minute subway to Park Slope. To get to downtown NYC is 25 mins on the train.

The bedroom available is a medium sized. Each room comes with a bed, a small desk/chair, and space for clothing.

-- The apartment itself is charming with a peaceful, clean vibe. The center room is an artist studio as I work from home.

--- We unfortunately can't have any smoking (inside), guests, or pets. We are looking for someone fairly quiet who will be independent at home. the apartment isn't much of a socializing zone, more for peaceful retreat.
We are looking for someone who is super clean & willingly to help with vacuuming, counter wipe downs, trash, & a weekly bathroom cleaning rotation, doing dishes right away, etc.
