Hello! We have a primary room with it's own private bathroom available in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Bed Stuy apartment. Available starting September or October 1st.

The room fits a king size bed, dresser, bookshelf and desk. It has two big windows that face the backyard. From late March-late November there's a tree that blossoms and that's most of the view, still giving you a lot of sunshine and bringing in a nice breeze. There’s great closet space, an air conditioner and a ceiling fan. The room is not furnished but a desk can be provided if needed and my roommate might be leaving her mattress behind.

The apartment has central heating during colder months, and an air purifier we run 24/7.

The kitchen is fully equipped and opens out to the living room which is fairly big. There’s lots of natural light all through the apartment. As pictured, we have a pole that I got as a hobby during the pandemic but it doesn't get used anymore. The apartment is on the top floor of a 3 story walk up. There are only two other tenants in the building (one per floor). Our street is very quiet, but one street parallel to us is Fulton Street and you can find anything you need there.

The closest train is the A/C, on Kingston Throop (around the corner) or Nostrand Ave (10 min walk). There are also two citi bike stations on opposite ends of the street. There’s a supermarket (Mr.Carrot) located around the corner with lots of vegan and organic products and there's another jumbo size supermarket 3-4 blocks away with a gym across the street. No laundry in the building but two laundromats also around the corner on each side (again, everything you need in on Fulton).

We're looking for someone who is respectful, tidy, like minded and ideally works 9-5ish. Our home is a quiet, peaceful space for unwinding, not a party house. We have mostly vegetarian diets so it’s a bonus if you do, too. Ideally looking for someone who doesn't cook a lot.

We’re both in our late 20s. I (Linda) grew up here and have been living in this apartment for years. I’m currently waitressing part time so I’m usually gone at night. When I'm off I'm either in school, doing pilates or reading in bed. I don’t spend much time in the apartment and don't really cook or bring guests home.

Lera is a painter with a part time job at an art gallery. She's also usually always out of the apartment for work or with friends.

We're both very clean & tidy. We have opposite schedules but occasionally we get together and watch a movie. Looking for someone with feminine energy for the apartment. Our ideal housemate is in their late twenties or early thirties, although open to any one who is mature so long as they are responsible, considerate and professional. We're looking for someone with a busy schedule that respects the apartment and treats it like their home.
