We are renting our Highland Park home for three weeks in July. Our three-bedroom, one bath house sleeps 5. The primary bedroom has a king bed, plenty of closet space, and blackout shades. The kids room has two twin-sized beds and the office/guest room has a twin bed and a large desk. The kitchen is fully equipped for the cook and baker and there is a breakfast nook and dining table for eating. The house has a washer/dryer and HVAC system for the hot LA summers. There is high-speed internet throughout the house. The spacious backyard has a pergola where you can relax or eat outdoors. There is a fire pit and gas-grill for entertaining. Fruit trees include fig and lemon.

Our house is located just a block away from the York strip of Highland Park. There, you can grab nice bottle of wine from Sip Snack, hang at the snake park playground, grab a coffee from Cafe de Leche or Collage coffee. You can eat out at one of the many restaurants including Joy, Bub and Grandmas Pizza, or Highland Park Ramen or shop at one of the many spots on the boulevard (Dotter, The Quiet Life, and more!). Everything you could want or need is within walking distance including strolling through occidental College or up the many hiking trails nearby.

We are a family of four who enjoy cooking, hiking and playing outdoors. During weekends, we spend our days walking in the neighborhood, meeting up with friends, going to the park and visiting the cafes. We are relaxed but tidy. Ideally, we are looking for a family to stay in our place for the duration of our trip but would be willing to break up the time if it made sense.
