Fully renovated 1956 Homestead Cabin with art studio on 2.5 acres, surrounded by Joshua Trees, mountains and the expansive desert. The house has been artfully and lovingly remodeled by artists and occasionally used as a residency hosting creatives from around the world. Full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, walk in wardrobe, indoor and outdoor dining tables, wifi, and air-conditioning. There is new laundry machine, also indoor and an outdoor showers.
There is also an art/work studio separate from the house which and has a work desk, easel, lights, two large walls for hanging work on plus perfect even natural light all day. It also has an extra lofted bed for guests.

- Goat Mountain hiking trail is only 4mins away
- 20 mins to Joshua Tree. (cafes, restaurants and national park)
- 20 mins to Pioneer Town and Pappy & Harrietts (legendary desert venue)
- 1 hour to Big Bear Lake
- 1 hour to Palm Springs (and airport)
- 2 hours drive to Los Angeles.

Rental requirements
You'll need a car to stay at house as markets are a drive away.
I am asking for $1000 deposit to cover any accidents. At the end of your stay $150 will be deducted for cleaning, and $850 returned to you. I'll also ask you sign a rental agreement and get a copy of drivers license or passport.
Write a little about yourself, your work, passion, interests, and why you’d like to live or spend time at Jana Koya. I'd like to zoom or via phone meet potential renters:) Maximum 2 people.
