I have two rooms for rent in my 3BD rowhouse in Mt. Pleasant. Mt. Pleasant, "the village in the city," was recently named by Time Out as one of the best neighborhoods in the world. The house is on a quiet, community-oriented street and backs up onto Rock Creek Park. Capital Bikeshare is at the end of the block, and the Cleveland Park and Columbia Heights metro stations are about 20 minutes walk.

There is a shared living room, dining room, sunroom, and kitchen, and 1 1/2 bathrooms to share. The common areas are furnished, and the rooms can be partially furnished to your preference. My books and personal items are in common areas now, but we can work together to make it feel like our shared space! The house has a washer/dryer, a full kitchen, a TV with HBO Max, Netflix, and Criterion Channel, and street parking. Utilities will be split and are not included.

Green Room: Contains a large built-in wardrobe and closet, blackout shades, and an air-conditioner unit. $1300 per month

Gray Room: This room has one closet and an air-conditioner unit. It shares one door with the back room of the house, my room, but this door can be locked and soundproofed, and neither of us will need to use it. $1100 per month

I am looking for community-minded, clean, and respectful roommates in their 20s and early 30s. I am a graduate student and will be home studying during some daytime hours.

I am in my mid-20s and currently a graduate student in international affairs. I grew up on this street and am returning to DC after several years working in climate financing and education, most recently in London. I love art, books, movies, hiking, and spending time with friends. I also love to cook, but am most often found scrounging for crackers on weekdays. :) I am grateful to have had several great roommate situations in the past, and I hope to make this one great, too.
