[REPOST: The original person who took it had to cancel due to an unfortunate medical emergency so I'm reposting.]
This loft space is a very unique, old school style of converted factories into artists’ lofts, with exposed joust beams, old wooden floors with wonderful patina, and decorated to highlight the bohemian uniqueness.
It's been described as walking onto a film set for a loft in Brooklyn, the kind you can't find anymore. I'd ideally like to sublet with the care of my extremely gentle, tiny 2 year old cat, as part of the loft, as well as watering the plants. The care of both is very low maintenance but still important (to me) and the reduced rate reflects this appreciation of your taking care of these things. I do have a friend who could take the cat, but we'd prefer to have her stay home.
It’s available only for these 3 weeks: Thursday August 7th to Thursday August 28th. It is also available without the cat, but for the full pro-rated of 3,200 for that period. Please kindly mention in your inquiry.
Basic and extraneous features: a queen sized bed with a superb mattress, a daybed with two twin mattress (second one is tucked under as a trundle), high count linens for all, dining table seating 6, standing desk with stool, swing, floor-to-ceiling chalkboard, wide screen TV, large projector for movie nights, wobble board, vintage dart board, etc. There’s a high quality Alen air purifier in the main living space and another air filter in the kitchen area. Each space has speakers installed. There is a wide screen TV and projector system (pictured) for movie nights
Part of the quirkiness is that the kitchen/bathroom across a hallway that one unit, with three roommates, accesses for entry. The kitchen and bathroom are exclusively used by my unit, but you will see the neighbors pass through quietly and without fuss. The main part/rest of the loft has no egress of other units. The bathroom has just been repainted and redone (including a new toilet).
It is fully and tastefully furnished and has quality linens and fluffy towels for your use while there.. The kitchen is fully kitted out for cooking and baking, and condiments/spices are there for your use. This includes an espresso machine and frother/milk warmer, toaster, microwave, air fryer, NutriBullet Pro, Berkey water filter system etc....
It's on the second floor via stairs (no elevator) and heavily secured by locked iron doors and by a bit of a labyrinth to get to the space itself. It is and feels very secure.
The loft is located in the heart of north Williamsburg, two blocks from the waterfront esplanades and parks, in the midst of all the cafes, yoga studios, restaurants for which the neighborhood is heralded.
If all of the above seems generally acceptable, and you would like to enquire further, please respond to this with a brief introduction of yourself, and I will return the favor if I think it’s a fit.
Many thanks in advance and wishing you luck with your search.

Thank you.
I (she/her) am a professional photographer and creative. I've lived around the world and have rented many places the way you are now looking to do so, either to get on my feet in a new city, or between places on the move. I will treat you with great respect and only ask that you treat my place with the same and enjoy its utter uniqueness. I am taking sabbatical upstate while I recover from an accident and will only be a short distance from the city for any emergency that might arise.
