Looking for a calm, bright, beautiful, and restful space in Brooklyn (ideally in Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, or Bed-Stuy) to call home when I'm in the city for a visual arts MFA program starting August 1, 2025.

Ideally, I'd love to find a place within walking distance (20-30min) to Pratt and with a term at least until June 2026 or June 2027.

Outdoor space would be incredible -- I'm an avid gardener and farmer -- but not necessary!

I'm a homeowner upstate in my late 30s with 820 credit, a well-behaved adult cat, and a car. I've worked in social impact for 15 years but have made an intentional pivot towards art and farming in the last year. After living upstate for nearly 5 years, I'm returning to Brooklyn (where I've previously loved living and have sweet community) for an MFA in visual arts program at Pratt.

I'm clean, quiet, and love being cozy at home, though I will be full-time in the program and at my studio as much as possible. On weekends and breaks, I plan to be upstate as much as possible, too (and will be brining my cat back and forth with me). So even though I want to feel comfortable and welcome in the space, I very likely won't be a huge presence.
