Pre-war building next to Pratt near the Classon G and the Brooklyn Navy yard ferry. 800 meters from Fort Greene. 15 minutes to Manhattan— perfect for commuting to FiDi/LES/EV.
The two rooms are unconnected with a living room and kitchen between them and a full bath.
Your room has two door sized windows which let light in. There is also a closet!
The neighborhood is unbeatable with tons of great restaurants (Clementine, Lula Mae, Place des Fêtes) and micro-parks and little in-between-buildings-spaces and even a community garden.
I’ve been in the neighborhood for 7 years, in the space for 6. I bartend, write, and do film photography. In a trade union. Like to read and paint.
I will be in and out this summer and am hoping to be fluent in Spanish.
I like stay active and mostly cook vegetarian/vegan meals, not a dealbreaker if you are different but it would be neat to collaborate occasionally on dishes.
I have multiple plants that I take care of and would love to garden if I had a garden.
Looking for someone who can coexist in a peaceful and quiet manner.
I don’t bring the party home but would be eager to learn how one does that.
I like sage, palo santo, light blues, running, keeping a clean kitchen, and getting each other’s packages for each other.
I don’t have a tv but have a projector for movies and such
Non-smoking pls. Looking to rent to one person only.
Ideally a non WFH situation
Traditionally I keep my space when in the apartment but am down to chat and even possibly will entertain friendship (expanding my horizons this year)

First month, security deposit. No pets*, just plants. Hoping for a June first-ish move in. Room will include a desk, a chair, a plant, a full size Shikibuton (Canvas Sleeping Pad), sheets, pillows and a closet.
All utilities included.
Non-smoking, no hard drugs.
I don’t have a ton of guests over - ideally you are the same. The apt to me is a place to recharge
*if it is a hypoallergenic cat or fish (not both, unless it is truly an exceptional circumstance) I could possibly consider.
This is a two month minimum lease with the possibility to renew- if you are a couple or a friend duo that would be interested in renting out both rooms in the Fall I would be down to discuss separately.
Happy to show the space in person over the next two weeks but can also Facetime, send a video walkthrough, etc
