Hello! I am a Manhattan-based writer/playwright looking for a job full or part-time in editing or assistant work. My ideal position is as an assistant to a writer/playwright or doing something in editing, working closely with other writers. I am also open to assisting an elderly writer/retired writer (or someone in psychology/philosophy/theology), as I am hoping to find a more meaningful way to connect + assist other artists and thinkers.

About this Lister

After studying philosophy and art history at school, I trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. I have also attended various acting workshops under instructors from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Juilliard. I am highly curious about by human psychology- specifically how we think and communicate our thoughts and emotions- and enjoy observing and studying human behavior. I also love to explore bigger ideas and concepts and am a voracious reader (always have been). I love all genres of storytelling, especially auto fiction.

Background and Expertise

I have a long background in customer service and also worked as administrative assistant to a forensic psychologist. As a lover of storytelling, psychology and philosophy, my written work incorporates themes on human interaction. A personal essay I wrote was selected by CUNY’s literary magazine, Divagations, for their first publication in 2023. Excerpts from my “Masculinity Project” were published in a men’s health textbook used at universities world-wide. Most recently, my play, Pastiche, was selected by the Chain Theatre as part of their 2024 Summer One Act Festival. I currently have another play in pre-production, as well as a full-length novel in the works.
