I'm Becca, a current MFA writing student and longtime copy editor and writing teacher. I have almost a decade of experience supporting academics, creatives, and businesspeople with their writing projects. I'm looking to take on a support role in any and all of your writing needs--SEO writing, branding materials, ghostwriting, and editing extant work.

I also have five years of experience working with kids to produce creative, coherent writing. It's college essay season, and I will work with your high schooler to hone their application.

About this Lister

Becca has been working with writers of all experience levels for almost a decade. She received a BA from Yale, an MA at Columbia, and is now pursuing an MFA in non-fiction writing at The New School. She has copy edited for Ivy League professors, marketing consultants, and political campaigns, alongside peer work on essays, memoir, and works of fiction. She has taught creative writing to kids aged 7-14 with Written Out Loud, and has a passion for unlocking children's creativity and love for writing.

Background and Expertise

Becca is pursuing an MFA in non-fiction writing from The New School. She received her BA in Gender Studies at Yale University, where she worked as a peer writing tutor and copy editor. She also holds an MA from Columbia University, where she first began publishing her own writing. Her work has been published by the University of Virginia English Department, The Baffler, CURSOR mag, and more.
