While the language is famous for the number of silent letters, there are rules for this. You will learn this and more with me. Your new and beautiful French accent will give you the confidence to speak out loud and proud! About this Lister

I'm based in Brooklyn, NY. I provide French tutoring sessions online and in person. I also offer small-group conversation classes for various levels of French. I am planning in-person events for conversation with an emphasis on pronunciation.

Like you, I learned French as a second language, working hard to read, write, speak, and understand this beautiful language. It wasn’t until I took a French Linguistics course that I really learned how to truly speak like a native. I know the struggle, and I know how to help you.

I have spent years living in France and Morocco, and also working for several international NGOs where French was used in my everyday work. This experience has given me a breadth of knowledge and experience of the language and how it is used in a variety of contexts. My diverse background allows me to provide instruction for travel French as well as business French.

Strange as it may seem, I adore studying the French language and nerding out about French pronunciation. My other passion is sharing this knowledge with others, demystifying the French language for those who feel intimidated. I love seeing the lightbulbs go off as learners master a difficult vowel and how it allows them to blossom and feel freer to speak out loud.

I have been working as a French pronunciation tutor for 2 years, and have been speaking and working in French (in the US, France, and various Francophone African countries) for over 30 years.

I know how to help you achieve native French pronunciation, which will improve your overall fluency and listening comprehension. You’ll be attracting all kinds of attention for your beautiful accent!

Note: I am an expert in French pronunciation, speaking, conversation, and listening. I am not a teacher of grammar, syntax, etc., and am not qualified to teach these subjects. While these topics are often a part of my lessons, they are not my specialty. I can help you when such topics come up, but my lessons do not cover these topics, and I can also recommend resources where you can learn these topics.
