About this Service

Because I am currently in training, I can offer high quality therapy for a low fee under highly skilled supervision ($30-$100 sliding scale). I offer remote and in-person options. I believe that our suffering can be lessened by observing our thoughts and the stories we tell ourselves, and that a caring and healthy relationship with a therapist can create a container that allows us to observe and reframe those stories. This belief does not discount that some of us face significant systemic barriers that contribute to our suffering.

I am currently a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College. Prior to this I received my MEd from Harvard Graduate School of Education and BA in from Vassar College, and I also bring over a decade of work experience in children’s media. My style is very conversational, and I strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for my clients. I use a psychodynamic approach and sometimes incorporate somatic techniques.
