Hello! I’m looking for a roommate to rent out my spare bedroom and share my craft space with me.

Rent is $1,262/month plus utilities (WiFi and ConEd) which usually run about $50-$100/month. Short term or long term are both fine. The apartment is a three floor walk up and is two blocks away from the ACBD and a block away from the 1. Also a block away is the public library! The apartment is extremely sunny, with two air conditioners: one in your room (yay!) and one in the living room. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/baking equipment/stand mixer/etc so if you’re someone who’s traveling light, that’s perfect. The pans have all been used to cook meat, so please be aware of that. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat right around the corner. Also living in the apartment are two cats- one very friendly and one very shy. If you love cats and crafts, this is the place for you!

I am a 27 year old queer woman who works as a freelance costume artist and audiobook narrator. I love to knit, sew, crochet, quilt, and spin my own yarn. My schedule can be quite eclectic, with some weeks being very work light and others being very work heavy. I would love to live with someone who is also creative, likes to hangout and chat about their day and books, and wants to snuggle with the cats.
