This is a sublet for the remainder of the lease - could potentially also be a lease takeover if that was desired!
No pets please :( This is for one person only!
My bedroom, which could come furnished or unfurnished (up for discussion), is cozy, with incredible natural light and faces the very quiet backyard. The room has access to a fire escape that’s great for reading. The closet is huge and there’s additional storage above it! My room fits a queen bed with dresser and it used to also have a desk in it.
We have a dishwasher in unit and free laundry in the basement.
The management is very responsive and they use latch for building access which works via bluetooth - we also have physical keys.
We’re 2.5 blocks from the jefferson stop of the L and around tons of amazing restaurants & bars as well as a 24 hour grocery store.
All of the neighbors are kind, quiet and the entire block have a sense of community.
Move in date is November 1st but this could be flexible. Furniture can either be removed or kept in the unit but would need to be discussed.
My roommate is 31, male identifying and currently attending NYU for his MBA. He’s incredibly kind, funny, an amazing roommate and lover of games, competition reality tv shows and hanging with friends. We indulge in late nights but pretty much never bring that into our home. We both appreciate the chill vibes!
Happy to answer any questions!
I’m 29, in the nonprofit sector and moved to new york from the bay area last summer. I love the area but would like to move to the UES to be closer to my parents and siblings. Happy to give insight into the area and the many incredible things bushwick has to offer. It’s a very easy commute into Manhattan with the L so close by - I go into the office 3X a week with no issue.
They are very relaxed and are more concerned my roommate feels it’s a good fit. They will probably ask for a filled out application and that does a credit check, but they do not discriminate against lower credit scores. If they feel confident in our choice, they may only required basic information like photo of ID, rental history and proof of income. Once the decision is made, you would be added onto the lease as a subleaser. Rent is paid through an online portal!
