I am a burnt out public defender and I am taking a leave of absence from work. I would love for you to come take care of my plants, hang out in my apartment and enjoy the space. My roommate is rarely home so the house would basically be yours for the month.

The room is available 8/4-9/2 with the possibility to move in to her room on 9/2 (my roommate who occupies the room next door with a walk in closet!!! may be taking a job out of state and moving out).

Preference will be given to people who want to stay here the entire time or willing to pay for the equivalent.

My monthly rent is actually higher than this but I am listing this for less money to find a great person to stay in my room.

A spacious 3-bedroom second floor apartment with private balcony and two full baths in a beautiful 2-family building. The house is located literally .1 miles from the Newkirk Avenue 2/5 subway stop on a quiet one-way street. Prospect park is a short walk away and there are lots of great restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

-My roommate Pippa moved in on June 1st and spends all of her time outside of the house. You will have the entire apartment to yourself.

-Unfortunately this is not an accessible space. There are five steps to get to the front porch and another 15 steps to get to the apartment which is on the second floor.

Additional costs:
I will ask for a small security deposit in the event that anything is broken or damaged.

Cleaning person fee of 90$ so she can come and change the sheets and clean bathroom at the end of your stay. coming to change the sheets and clean the bathroom

Split of utilities for the month appx 100$ (as long as you are mindful of turning the air off when you leave, the fees should remain manageable).

This is the total sublease price , I will only ask you to pay $60 on top of the cost for the cleaning lady to come and change sheets and clean the bathroom and room after you leave.
