Hi all! I'm looking to sublease a furnished true one bedroom apartment in Paris while I attend an intensive French language course for 8 months. My price range is around $1700.
I'd like to be in the 19eme (Buttes Chaumont) or 20th (Belleville) but could also maybe do the 11 or 18 depending on location.
I am 34-years-old, originally from New York, where I was a writer, but since COVID have been living in San Francisco where I began working in wine.
Now I'm in Paris working on my French in hopes of moving over here permanently to pursue winemaking.
I'm looking to find a quiet, bright, comfortable, clean and safe furnished apartment with one full bedroom, bathroom and kitchen as well as living room. Bonus points if charming (lol), hardwood floors, a patio or garden and washer/dryer.
Ideally conveniently located and more importantly, open to month-to-month.
While I have sufficient funds myself, I have a guarantor so happy to provide documentation for both of us.
My visa ends June 6 so I would need the space from now until June 1.
Let me know if you can help! Happy to meet IRL or hop on a zoom call anytime.
Merci bcp!
Harriet
My name is Harriet (she/her) I am 34-years-old, originally from New York, where I was a true crime journalist. During COVID I moved to San Francisco and began working at a wine bar, which got me interested in wine production.
After a few years of helping winemakers in California and France with harvest, I decided to take time off and live in Paris to attend an intensive French course to improve my language skills. My dream is to move south and make wine :) but who knows what will happen! I'm just excited to be here and to learn.
I enjoy being outside in nature, seeing friends at the beach or in the park for a picnic or at our favorite food spot, surfing, creating art, learning new things, thrifting and vintage shopping, and practicing tarot.
For me, my home is my oasis, my retreat. Mornings are slow with a cup of coffee and reading, or long walks around the neighborhood/ the park/ the beach to start my day.
While I am social and outgoing outside of the home, I like keeping my space clean, quiet, cozy and organized. It lets me feel refreshed for whatever the day has to offer.
