A private room on the 6th floor of an elevator building. Shared apartment with two other roommates. Furnished with a bed, closet, desk and couch. In the bedroom, there is one window that catches the sunlight through the day, an AC unit and pull down curtains. It is a cozy space with lots of books and some ephemera I've collected in the city over the years.

Communal spaces are a large, sunny living room and a kitchen with shared fridge and cabinets. It is well lit and nicely furnished. There is one bathroom. No washer/dryer but a laundromat around the block.

There are 2 other roommates who share the space, rarely does it feel congested as everyone is on very different schedules. One is a grad student, the other works from home as an editor for a new publication.

The space is extremely chill and on the quiet but friendly side. We like to keep the spaces clean but also aren't uptight. We have a group chat, everyone gets along and helps each other. It's located a 10-15 minute walk from Prospect Park, and its very easy to get to other locations in the city.

Ideal person is queer-friendly, chill, cleans up after themselves, kind, etc.

About This Lister

I'm an artist and independent researcher. I've lived in the space for 5 years. We are all a bit academically oriented, nerdy, and politically inclined. Be cool, chill, and have lived with queer people in the past.

A - An editor for a news publication, covers the genocide in Gaza, works from home, very sweet and keeps to themselves often.

S - A grad student studying incarceration in Australia. Involved in political work throughout the city, busy schedule, jumps between sleeping at home and at their partner/friends.
