I am subletting my beautiful, quiet, and spacious bedroom in my large Bushwick shared home. $1500 including utilities for all 5 weeks, or would be willing to rent by the week for the right fit. Our apartment is on the first floor, centrally located to the Jefferson L and Myrtle Broadway J and M trains.

The bedroom is furnished with a desk, queen-sized mattress and bed, dresser, large closet, and large built-in bookshelf. The apartment is on the 1st floor and consists of two floors- the main floor where all of the bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and full bathrooms are located; and the basement level which has a private washer/dryer, small guest room, and small area to exercise (including an elliptical that you can use if you're a bit on the short side!). The bedroom is located in the back of the house with one window that opens up to the spacious backyard (backyard has fire pit so that you can even enjoy it in the winter!).

Our apartment stays clean and we ask that everyone keep the common spaces (dishes and living room/bathroom) fairly clean. Additionally, we have a person come in once per month to do a deeper clean of the common areas.

I am the current tenant and will be traveling out of the state during the time of the sublet. I love living here and love all of the housemates and our dog and am excited to offer my super cozy space to someone looking!

We are a multi ethnic/gender/sexuality household and value sharing space with individuals who value diversity. Please respond if you care deeply about queer and trans people and believe in the liberation of all people. Additionally, you MUST love dogs. We have one small dog who is a part of our family. While you will not have any responsibilities of dog caretaking as a housemate, he does share the couch with us and may want to come hang out with you in your room and it's more pleasant for everyone if the incoming housemate *enjoys* dogs rather than tolerates them. One housemate works from home, the others work outside of the house with varying work schedules. While it's pretty quiet here we encourage people to live their lives pretty authentically so guests come over for meals, and someone may stay up late watching TV in the living room but otherwise a fairly quiet, but energetic, household. We are a "shoes off at the door" household as well.

We are looking for someone who works in or out of the home (doesn't matter to us!), loves animals, likes living with other people, and values a tidy but lived-in home environment.
