Hi! I'll be out of town all of January visiting my partner in Berlin. I'm hoping to rent out my charming, warm room in Clinton Hill in the meantime. The room comes with a bookshelf, full bed, night stand, dresser, closet, and full mirror. I'd be grateful There's also a hard monstera in the room.
The third floor walk-up is technically a 4 bedroom, but one room is collectively shared and has a TV and couch, so you'll only have two roommates (my best friends--one is a lawyer and the other a filmmaker). The apartment has 2 bathrooms, a dishwasher, and light coming in from three sides with charming views of the tree-lined block below from our fire escape. The building also has an extremely responsive super who will be there immediately if anything comes up.
Clinton Hill is a charming, tree-lined Brooklyn neighborhood known for its historic brownstones, friendly community feel, and great local restaurants and cafés. It’s quiet and residential but still close to lively spots on Myrtle and Dekalb Avenues. Easy access to multiple subway lines makes getting around the city simple. The apartment is 2 blocks from the C train, a 10 minute walk from the G, and a 20 minute walk from Prospect Park/the Brooklyn Museum/the Botanical Gardens, and Fort Greene Park.
I'm a 30-year-old writer and editor currently splitting my time between NYC and Berlin. I'm very responsive so can get back to you with any questions should they come up!
My two roommates, Ian and Anne-Sophie, are Stanford grads and my best friends. We regularly cook meals together, and if wintry stews and warm tea speak to you, I know they'd be happy for someone to fill my spot for the month. If you prefer more privacy, then know we tend to keep the apartment pretty quiet. Either they or I will be happy to give you and recommendations or advice.
Phone interview and a security deposit of $500 that will be returned to you should the room/apartment be left in good condition.
