This small self-managed coop is full of creatives. I am an artist who exhibits in NYC and an emerita professor at Penn State. I have been living in this coop building since 1984 and am President of the Coop. I founded First Street Green, the Cultural Park next to the storefront. FSG provides murals and ongoing cultural activity in First Park by engaging with artists, community, and cultural groups through a series of programs that activate this public space.
