Role Overview
Los Angeles studio is seeking a Personal Creative Assistant to provide dedicated support to the artist’s creative workflow and personal logistics. This role is designed for a highly organized, proactive individual who will act as a primary point of contact between the artist, studio staff, and external partners, ensuring that creative projects and daily operations move forward seamlessly.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, understands the necessity of discretion in a high-profile environment, and can anticipate the artist’s needs before they are voiced.
Core Responsibilities
Creative Support & Archiving
Scanning & Digitization: Execute high-quality scanning of physical works, sketches, and documents to maintain the artist's creative archives.
Document Management: Organize and maintain digital records and art documents to ensure consistent studio workflows.
Shoot Coordination: Manage logistics and coordination for photography or film shoots and commercial collaborations.
Project Oversight: Provide project management support for international exhibitions and various creative initiatives.
Daily Logistics & Operations
Communications: Manage the artist’s inboxes and handle all incoming physical mail.
Scheduling: Oversee and maintain complex calendars, including scheduling meetings across multiple time zones.
Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel, including all related logistics and detailed itineraries.
Studio Maintenance: Keep the studio organized and running smoothly while acting as a liaison for household and studio staff.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Seasoned administrative background, comfortable operating in high-stakes and confidential environments.
Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills with a grounded, low-ego approach to supporting a high-profile practice.
Professionalism: Highly organized, punctual, and reliable with strong judgment.
Interests: A plus for those with an interest in contemporary art, art history, or fashion.
Requirements & Tools
Software Proficiency: Mastery of the iCloud ecosystem, specifically Keynote, Pages, and related Apple productivity tools.
General Tools: Confident working in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Creative Tools: Ideally familiar with Adobe Creative Suite or possessing a strong willingness to learn.
Logistics: Based in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation.
Vetting: Must be able to provide at least three professional references and complete a comprehensive background check.
