I’m seeking one roommate who is quiet, clean, forthright, and friendly! I’m holding out for a good match, and maybe that’s you.

Enjoy a furnished quiet bedroom in a spacious, high-ceiling home in a vibrant NYC neighborhood.

Your room is 150sqft, featuring a comfortable pillow-top bed, and study nook (or use as a storage closet). Your age can be whatever it is. The apartment is 850sqft with hardwood floors, nice natural light, and a practical kitchen with ample counter space. No television. Spotless shared bathroom has two sinks.

Fifth-floor walk-up, with security video-intercom. Many busses. Under a ten minute walk to L-train, Trader Joes, Target, Whole Foods. Ten minute walk to F-train. Convenient 25 minute walk west to NYU campus at Washington Square Park, or bus ride faster.

No dishwasher or W/D (many nearby laundromats, which also offer wash-and-fold per pound). No pets or any kind of smoking, please; no drugs.

About This Lister

I am the resident owner since 2003, and I'm the co-op president. I'm an older professional woman, with my MA from NYU, working as an independent filmmaker. I am considerate, studious, and gregarious. I enjoy healthy nutrition, sleep eight hours nightly, and run. I will be sleeping in the second bedroom (not shown).

Rental requirements

$2200 monthly, including utilities (heat & hot water; electric & gas), high speed internet, and furniture. Lease is for SUMMER RENTAL, three months (5/15 to 8/15, OR 6/1 TO 9/1). So $6600 for those three months. $2200 security deposit. Current roommate moves on 5/15. So preferred start date is 5/15, but 6/1 is also viable. Please do let me know if you want to be added to my waitlist if you prefer a different start date.

Expect to submit government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license), proof of income (or guarantor statement with their 1040 tax form), references, bank statements (last three months), security deposit (one month), first month's rent, and signed lease.
