We're a Canadian-American-German family living in Berlin who recently bought a stone farmhouse in the Lot-et-Garonne, about an hour east of Bordeaux. We named it Le Beau Pierre after Adam's late father and are opening it up for rentals. We'd love to fill it with lovely folks like you - we've had such great experiences with the Listings Project.

Four bedrooms (sleeps 10), three and a half bathrooms, a pool, a summer kitchen, two terraces, and 10 acres of private land including a forest with trails and a wildflower meadow.

Because we have two young kids of our own, LBP is family-forward. There's a bunk room that sleeps 4 kids, lots of kids books, a toy cupboard (also board games for grownups!), cribs and high chairs if you need them, a swing outside and pool for the hot summer days.

The kitchen is fully stocked and the knives are sharp. 100% organic percale cotton sheets. High-quality bath products so you don't have to pack them. Rubber boots by the back door, pétanque for apéro hour, and a welcome basket with lots of surprises.

The house sits at the end of a quiet dead-end road in a tiny village called Mauvezin-sur-Gupie. It's not on the tourist trail — no crowds, no queues. But you're 10 minutes from the market town of Marmande (incredible Saturday market, insane produce store, butchers, bakeries, all of it), an hour from Bordeaux and two hours from the Atlantic coast. The Dordogne and its castles are an hour north. The Pyrenees are three hours south.

We're opening bookings for summer/autumn 2026. Available from May onwards — weekly stays preferred but flexible. We're especially looking to fill May, June, and September, which are beautiful shoulder-season months here.
