I am looking for part-time, on-site help with my New Haven CT-based hospitality business a few hours a week. Hours are irregular, but usually around check-ins, which are about four a month. I have a cleaning crew, so your job would be more doing a final walk-through, keeping up with supplies, running errands, greeting guests and handling the occasional small emergency. (Large emergencies are my problem, obviously.) You'd train with me in August (paid) and start in September.
You should:
- Be over 21.
- Have your own transportation.
- Have a flexible schedule that allows you to be available 12-3pm when needed (not always, but at least once a week).
- Have a gracious-with-guests personality and be a great communicator.
- Be punctual, responsible and reliable.
- Be capable, creative and able to troubleshoot.
- Be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Take joy in making things look and feel nice, and providing guests with a great experience.
- Have patience with the occasional dork who can't work a coffeemaker and sends a million messages. That too shall pass, lol.
About Us
I have a small but successful hospitality business in New Haven and also a FT job. I am looking for someone to help me with small tasks/errands and guest management to relieve some time pressure and stress.
