Big room + private bathroom, in very big brand new apartment with a beautiful private backyard.
Located in a quiet tree-lined street in Ridgewood in the perfect blend of Brooklyn and Queens. 3 blocks away from the M Seneca stop and 7 min walk away from the L Myrtle-Wyckoff. (you get from home to Union Square in 30min).
The area has a great vibe, very chilled and surrounded with plenty of nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakeries.

Listed room is huge and can fit queen/king bed, work area, wardrobe, dresser, shelves and even a small couch + coffee table if you want.
Room will be mostly unfurnished but it comes with a window a/c unit (stored in basement during winter).
Your own bathroom is right next to the room, and rooms are on the opposite sides of the building making it the best layout for a 2br apartment with plenty of privacy and space for both of us.
This is a much bigger apartment than the average NYC size, you will feel like you finally have a homey space to hangout and and move around. Living room+kitchen area is large and ideal for dinner parties, and we have a big and comfy couch for movie nights.

I live with Meadow, a super sweet dog that you will surely fall in love with :-)
Our rooms are on the opposite sides of the apartment so we have plenty of privacy as well, it's the best layout you can ever desire of in a shared apartment.
The backyard access is in my working area next to my small bedroom, but you can pass through it almost anytime during the day even when I'm working, as I don't mind and I'm actually happy that you get to enjoy it.

I'm looking for a responsible and mature roommate that will want to feel harmony at home, and will be interested in a friendly co-living to foster a cozy and warm atmosphere.
I do also value privacy, alone time and personal space and this apartment has a great layout to allow us that.
I keep the house clean and pretty tidy and I need someone who likes and contribute to the same (I don't have a strict cleaning schedule, as long as we both act on cleaning in a balanced manner).
Ideally you are a professional with at least some years of experience and a similar schedule.

Bonus point if you are into gardening ( I grow tomatoes and other vegetables in the yard) and if you are looking for climbing, hiking and dance buddies.

No other pets, sorry. But if you are a great fit and have a small dog we could try to make it work.

No tobacco smoking in the apartment. weed could be ok at the window occasionally but let's enjoy it more outside :-)

No heavy/late parties at home. Occasional friend gatherings are welcome on weekends and so are small group dinners during the week, as long as they are wrapped up by 11pm.
