We're looking for someone to move into our collective house for a 2.5 month sublet (April 15* thru June 30) with a possibility to extend into signing a new year-long lease with us from July 1 2026 to June 30 2027.

What we’re looking for:
- A single person (rent $1,280) who wants to join a home in a beautiful 3-story historic home in Flatbush!
-April 15 move-in ideal, *with possibility to negotiate a May 1 or April 1 move-in
- Communal living practices: shared groceries, cooking for each other 2x a month, sharing chores, and bi-monthly house meetings to communicate around house and life!
- Queer, or queer friendly
- We host events 1-2 times a month–potlucks, organizing meetings, music jams, film screenings. We are open to hosting/co-creating your events and dreams!

What you’ll get:
- King-size room (Two closets!! Big south facing windows!!!)
- 190² feet. The room is unfurnished but includes a large desk and shelves built into one wall. We have some furniture in our basement that you could use, including a king sized bed frame and mattress (we would need your help to move it upstairs)
- An indoor & outdoor fireplace :o
- Large common spaces including living room with projector, dining room with dining table that can seat ~12,-kitchen w/ two fridges, beautiful back patio with blooming flowers!
- To live on a quiet cul-de-sac street a 10 minute walk from the B/Q and close to Prospect Park
- Basement with laundry and music room
- Monthly utilities between $80-140, varying depending on season

In the past our landlord has asked for:
-recent bank statements
-recent tax returns
-credit report
-proof of income
They will also need a $1,120 deposit upon move-in, in addition to first month's rent.
We can't accept cats due to allergies, but are open to a small/medium well-behaved dog
