Hi! Subletting my pretty expansive one-bedroom in Silver Lake while I'm out of LA for the month of August. I LOVE this apartment. The bedroom is huge. Great light all around. It has a dreamy little nook off the kitchen that's perfect for breakfast and/or office work. Living-room / dining area is large and features a (nonworking, sorry) fireplace. The backyard is shared with the upstairs neighbors, who are lovely and don't spend much time out there. Washer dryer in the adjoining apartment, which is shared with the upstairs neighbors and offers extra storage space.

The location is exceptional. I'm right above Sunset Blvd with secret stairs (the "silver lake piano stairs") connecting me to the street. So I'm removed from the sound and bustle of the thoroughfare, but everything is super-accessible. I have a car to get around LA, but often find myself not using it for the weekend because stores, bars, coffee shops, erewhon are all 5-15 min walk away.

Utilities are all included.

I'm up to figure out alt dates for the right fit. Especially since I'll be leaving my cat, Goody, at home.

I'm a producer (she/her) who's been living in Silver Lake for 6 years. I live alone and am hybrid in the office/working from home and really value this space for that. I'm very tidy and like to keep a NICE home. Lots of kitchen equipment–I used to work in food and enjoy cooking and baking.

I'll be traveling to the east coast to see family and friends for the month of Augustl, so looking for someone to enjoy the apartment and ideally take care of my cat.

I'm friends with my upstairs neighbors (a quiet couple who has been in the building for 15 years), so want to get an individual or couple in who is respectful and communicative.
