Hello! I have a room available in my lovely Williamsburg apartment starting August 1st, and I'm looking for an easygoing woman whose interested in a longer-term sublet (the primary lease ends May 31st 2026), although I'm open to shorter-term as well.
About the bedroom:
-Available August 1st
-Unfurnished
-Exposed brick!
-Great size for NYC (10x10ish)
-Can fit a queen or full bed, dresser, desk, and bookshelf/clothes rack/etc for extra storage
-Really beautiful, spacious and cozy at the same time
This room doesn't get much natural sunlight, but the rest of the apartment is extremely bright and sunny. Because of that, it tends to be better for someone who works out of the house.
About the apartment:
-3 bed/1 bath
-Prime location in Williamsburg: right off Bedford Ave and 3-4 blocks from Domino Park, Whole Foods, the Williamsburg Bridge foot path, and countless coffee shops, bars, shopping, etc.
-Third floor of a pre-war walk-up
-Dishwasher
-Laundry in basement
-Fully furnished and well-stocked kitchen (I love to cook!)
-Rooftop with beautiful skyline views
-No pets, sorry
The overall vibe of this apartment is quiet, calm, and an oasis from the the city. Occasional guests + visitors are fine with a heads up, but nobody brings the party home here.
About you:
-A woman in her 20s/30s
-EXTREMELY clean and considerate of others (Seriously, this is a MUST. If this isn't high on your list of values, it's not gonna work!)
-Appreciates having a calm and beautiful space
-It's great if you're a social butterfly, but again, this isn't an apartment where we bring the party home and you're someone who respects that
-Also relatively laid-back and easy to get along with

I (Alexandra) am in my early 30s and am the primary tenant, living in the bedroom next to this room -- you'd be subletting from me directly. I've lived here for 5 years and have poured a lot of love and soul into this apartment.
I freelance + work remotely so I'm home most days, but sometimes have periods where I travel and am gone for weeks at a time.
The other roommate, Fiona, is in her mid 20s and travels frequently, so the apartment is pretty quiet midweek. We're both easy to get along with, are very clean and respectful of shared spaces, and each do our own thing (though open to socializing if it feels natural).
First month + security deposit, and signed sublease agreement. Utilities + monthly apartment cleaner are usually ~$150, give or take.
