Looking a mid- or long-term rental in Berlin

Seeking Living Space

July 4, 2024

Dear people,
I am a lawyer and academic, currently doing a postdoc with the University of Lausanne. I'm moving to Berlin to start a new project and looking for a place to live.

Preferably within the Ring-Bahn, preferably under eur 1,000, preferably 1-room apartment or a studio but happy to consider more options.

I've lived in Italy, the Netherlands, the USA and Russia before, am used to adapting to new places. Very careful with other people's things, value cleanliness and quiet as I work a lot from home.

Currently I am working on two book projects and a few grant proposals.

I am already in Berlin, have a short-term apartment in Sch├Âneberg. Happy to come for a viewing, flexible with timing.

If you know of any options, please do let me know. I'd truly appreciate it.

About This Lister

I am a lawyer and an academic, hold a doctorate from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy and a master's from Harvard.

I love writing and research, and it occupies most of my time.
I do yoga and dance (mostly, west coast swing and afrobeats). I am a voracious reader, often carry many books with me from place to place.

A passion of mine is helping people apply for a graduate study and break down the barriers to quality education (as I had to do it myself). I have a website and a blog that I write on, accessible below.

I have moved a lot in the past few years, and I hope that I find a home in Berlin. I've been here for a few weeks now and looking to find either a long-term place or a mid-term that will be my base as I properly settle here.
