I’m looking to move to NYC anytime in November, preferably, but October 15th (earliest) or early December (latest). Hoping for something longer-term but open to short-term. Currently in Burlington, VT - just a quick hop away!
Mainly eyeing Brooklyn or potentially Queens - specifically Park Slope, Bed-Stuy/Bushwick, Ridgewood - but open to other neighborhoods if the vibes are right. My budget is $1,000-$1,200 (rent + utilities), with some flexibility for the ideal location. Open to month-to-month or short-term, but would love the option to stay longer if it feels like home.
Priorities:
~ LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC friendly home
~ Clean, respectful, communicative roommates (cleaning up after yourself = essential)
~ Creative, welcoming space
~ Pets welcome (I don’t have any, but happy to live with them!)
Roommate-wise: I’m respectful, responsible, and intentional with my space. I love a friendly home where we can see each other daily, but know that we can have planned or spontaneous hangs from time to time. I also value solo time and a balance between the two. I’m the type who keeps shared spaces clean, brings warmth, but tends to be out and about exploring!
If you’ve got a cozy home for me, or know someone who does, feel free to email me, or to peek at my freshly reactivated Instagram and message there if preferred @Lindsaymkelsey. I will be in NYC twice in September: 16th-18th, & 24-26th. I'd like to see spaces and meet potential future roommate(s), so please message me if you think I would be a good fit!
I’m Lindsay (she/her), 31, currently working in a swanky cocktail lounge, with a background in event coordination. I studied Nutrition & Food Science, so cooking is my love language - you’ll probably find me making something delicious, exploring new eats, or checking out a neighborhood gem. I’m also big into making art, e-biking, rollerblading, hiking, traveling, and saying yes to little adventures in my free time.
