We’re opening up our beloved second home for a few special weeks this fall to guests who will cherish it as much as we do. This is not a full-time rental or hotel—it’s our family’s personal retreat, shared only when we’re away.
Surrounded by ~10 private acres of woodland, 1/2 mile creek frontage, and quiet trails, the home is available for weekly or weekend rentals in late summer and fall, arguably the most magical time of year in the Catskills.
$1550/week
$690/weekend (Fri–Sun)
$175/night on weekdays (3-night minimum)
+$150 cleaning fee per stay
$250 refundable security deposit
THE COTTAGE:
Recently renovated and wheelchair accessible, the cottage is bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed. It includes:
3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms
2 king-size rooms + 1 “kids’ room” with two sets of bunk beds
Full laundry room and mudroom
Dog-friendly (well-behaved pups welcome!)
Cozy reading nooks, woodsy views from every window, a wood-burning stove, and a firepit for outdoor seating under the stars.
The home comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults and 4 children, and the side entrance features a ramp for step-free access.
THE LAND:
The property stretches across nearly 10 acres with:
Private access to the Callicoon Creek—a fly fishing favorite—with swimming holes, mini bluffs, and waterfalls
Winding trails for meditative walks or leaf-collecting adventures
Lush woodland ideal for unplugging, writing, birdwatching, or doing absolutely nothing
We’re nestled on the northwest edge of Sullivan County, close to the best of the Catskills:
Narrowsburg, Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor, and Roscoe are all short drives away
Great restaurants, farmer’s markets, spas, and hiking all within reach
About This Lister
I'm a mom of 4 (including both humans and canines!) who grew up camping, canoeing, and fishing in Upstate NY. My family and I split our time between Brooklyn and Callicoon. When we cannot make it upstate, we love to share our property with others.
We welcome other families and folks who enjoy the peaceful outdoors.

We offer our home for rent through the Listings Project community at a significant discount to our published rate, and in return, we ask that all guests be clean, respectful, and care for the space as if it were their own.
To help us maintain the safety and integrity of our home—especially since we’re renting directly, without a platform as intermediary—we kindly request the following:
- A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID from the primary guest at the time of booking
- A brief note sharing who you are and who will be staying
- For longer stays (7+ days), we may also request proof of current address (e.g. utility bill or lease)
- A refundable security deposit of $250 is due upon booking and will be returned within 2 days of your departure, pending no damage
- Guests must agree to basic house rules and care guidelines, which we’ll share prior to confirming your stay

Pets Policy
Well-behaved and house-broken dogs are allowed with a 45lb weight limit. You must clean up all pet waste, including in the outdoor areas of the property.
Sorry, no cats allowed due to allergies in our family.
