About Your Potential Roommate, Jose (written by current tenant, Camila):
Jose is 23, originally from Colombia, and has been living in NYC for nearly five years. He’s about to graduate and works two jobs outside the apartment, so he’s rarely home. When he is, he’s usually cooking or studying.
Whenever we happen to be home at the same time, we’ll often share a glass of wine or a beer, listen to music, and occasionally cook or eat together. Jose is genuinely one of the sweetest roommates I’ve had, he’s respectful, communicative, and very clean.
We’ve lived together for almost a year, and I have zero complaints. I’m only leaving because I’m moving back to my home country for a job opportunity, and our lease is ending in July.

Neighborhood:
Lenox Hill is a vibrant and upscale neighborhood, known for being super clean, and full of things to do. You'll have easy access to museums like The Met, The Guggenheim, and MoMA, all within 30 minutes walking distance. Trader Joe’s and TJ Maxx are just 6 blocks away, making shopping convenient and accessible. The area is also known for its elegant boutiques, world-class dining options, and close proximity to cultural landmarks. The apartment is conveniently located near the 4/5/6/N/Q/R/F subway lines and just a 15-minute walk to Central Park. You'll be in the heart of the Upper East Side, close to everything you need, including grocery stores, cafes, and parks.

Additional Perks:
* Laundry facility right next to the building, making laundry day a breeze.

About This Lister

My name is Camila, I have been living in this apartment for almost 4 years. I absolutely love it and adore the neighborhood. The building is quiet, and we’re lucky to have an apartment next door that’s been vacant for years, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
I’ve really enjoyed making this place my home and hope my next roommate will love it and take care of it just as much as we do!
