Long Island family is looking for an experienced life skills coach to support a 24 year old young man on the Autism Spectrum. He is enthusiastic about skateboarding, working out, comedy and music. Support is needed around social gatherings, employment and volunteer opportunities. Shifts will be on weekdays and weekends, days and hours are flexible.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have experience working with young adults on the spectrum, providing one-to-one support, with knowledge of DIR a plus. Training will be provided upon start date.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
